If you happen to read Day Old News like I do from time to time (the newspaper) it simply amazes me that many of these companies that advertise in the paper or any print really, often do not include the companies domain name / website in their ad.

I've seen reverse URLs but this is a first -- an updside down URL. This graphic adorns the wall of the BP section at Nordstrom. I suppose it might be a good way to reach the BP target market -- teenage cheerleader types that can read it while doing a handstand. This URL has really bottomed out.
This is perhaps the most egregious example of a wrap-around URL I've come across. Not exactly fine print.
ICANN recently proposed (for public comment) a Draft Implementation Plan for the introduction of Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) on a limited basis for ccTLDs. The Plan follows the recommendations of the ICANN?s policy making supporting organizations and advisory committees. Those recommendations are available at http://ccnso.icann.org/workin...
Here is the third in the domainer stereotypes series. Background: I was reading an article about stereotypes and how we love to categorize people and put them in boxes. In preparation for my participation the a session next week at DomainFest entitled:
"Domaining 2.0? - What Does The Next Evolutionary Phase of Our Industry Look Like"
I began asking myself exactly what is domaining?
I've see this question being asked in comments to my blog on many occasions.
To me the answer is clear.
Domaining is comprised of...

Sick of declining PPC revenues and the insanity of me-too, co-dependancy on 15 cent a day mini-sites in bulk at the mercy of Google to make a profit, Domain Success VIP, Leland Hardy confidant and creative photo whiz, Brady Dillsworth, has a better idea for domain development.
Just in time for Valentines Day, Brady proves exactly what I was sayi...
The great Ronald Reagan once said that "there are no such things as limits to growth, because there are no limits to the human capacity for intelligence, imagination, and wonder." And so it is for Apple.

In the scale of embarrassing place names, Crapstone ranks pretty high. But Britain is full of them. Ask the residents of Titty Ho, North Piddle, Spanker Lane or Penistone.
