Lesson #4 focuses on selling domain names and teaches new domainers the choices they have when selling a domain. Three more courses to go and that will complete the seven-part video series. First, a couple more observations:
Someone forgot to put in crosswalks in New Orleans…

Court Order: Google To Remove Websites From Its Search Index
Censoring the internet? I understand that these type of websites don't exactly promote education and instead, make people want to "buy" their education, but seriously… this far as to have them removed from "Google"? What about Yahoo! and Live? Ask? Interesting. Here's a link to the...
GoodURLBadURL.blogspot.com has recently been critiqued (and SEO'd against) for being a bit redundant so allow me to fight fire with fire (and see if I can't reclaim Page 1 on Google for GoodURLBadURL.Blogspot.com -- hopefully the Big G still values keyword-dense anchor text).Admittedly, many of the URL's I post reflect good and bad practices that I...

I blogged about BuddyPress before. This is a new free set of plugins for WordPress MU that creates a Facebook-like social network. My brother has been into sports cars for quite a few years so I thought it would be an interesting experiment. I installed WordPress MU and the plugins on MySportsCar.org and started to
Morning Folks!! Now that even domainers are taking this crisis seriously. There is much talk about investing in gold, buying foreign currency and alike. If governments begin to lose control some very ugly things can happen. Things I won't even write but you sure as hell can't stop me from thinking about it. The best hedge against everything we are ...
Having reviewed the Second Draft of the New gTLD Guidebook released the other day by ICANN, it looks like if you are planning on applying for one of these new extensions, you better have a lot of cash on hand.
We all know that the "Evaluation Fee" for a new gTLD has been set at $185,000.
However
Following Yahoo and Microsoft's firm decisions to walk from the deals under consideration, 10 of the top 10 domain experts in the world have all declared dotMOBI domains toxic and non-liquid assets, suggesting that unless you have millions in the bank to wait the forthcoming depression out, the amount of dotMOBI drops we can expect in the next few ...
Interest in today's Aftermarket.com domain auction at Domainer Mardi Gras seems to be building to near fever-pitch - we've had plenty of people pre-register to bid, we've fielded tons of inquires about the zero-percent financing option and we've seen pre-bids placed on over 40% of the lots. This auction is shaping up to be one...

It seems like each time Domaintools puts an auction together, its always last minute, poorly advertised, and down right dissapointing. There was no exception this time around. The list of domains for sale wasnt even finalized until days before the actual auction, giving no time to bring in potential end-user bidders. Below are my notes,
