With the week almost at midpoint, I had a fun one-hour session on twitter, with regards to humoring the fears of swine flu epidemic. Consider this to be my first (and hopefully not last) session of twitter stand-up comedy.
All the jokes below are mine. If you don't like them, I will gladly refund your ticket
A total of 81 domains names were registered from yesterday's expired domain names list. I really should partner up with a domain registrar and monetize this stuff. Moving on to today's expired domains list, leading the pack in Google search volume are: TeganAndSara.net (probably trademarked) at 135,000, NursingSalary.net at 12,100, SolitaireGame.ne...
Hi guys and gals!

I was surprised to meet some of the folks who usually are within that group. on first day of arrival, telling me that "Rick is onto something", "With all my compl...
For several months now, I have been letting some of my domains drop. These are the lower quality hyphenated domains for which I will have no use myself.I haven't checked whether any of them have been snapped back up by others, as that's the kind of thing that keeps a domainer hanging on to low value or worthless domains for years, in the hope that ...

The seller of 90.com may have missed an earlier opportunity. According to a March 19 email from Sedo's Great Domains group, 90.com received

A domain name can be the Most Important choice you make before you start your site. Right out of the gate you have a vital choice to make but the majority of the time it's over looked and No budget is in place for your domain name.
If it wasn't over looked, one may have had
First of all now is a damn good time to invest $100,000 in the domain industry. If you wish to be a domainer, then the deals that are there for the taking?are just simply breathtaking.
However, if you have $100,000 to spend then I would assume that you are not stupid and would be prudent with
The Rick Latona auction today was pretty interesting. I watched it all and was logged into my "bidding" account, but didn't bid on anything–just in case some of the "big" names (Shows.com at no reserve) were going way too cheap :P.
Take a look at the list:
Shows.com US$ 102,000
SmartPhones.com US$ 95,000
RemoteControls.com US$ 32,000
Mortuary...
I just wanted to alert everyone that the reserves on these names have been significantly reduced.
DietPill.com is now $235,000 as a reserve
SleepingPill.com and SleepingPills.com, the package is at $235,000
These are 6-figure drops.
Morning Folks!! The search for competency in a world of mediocrity is what many of us deal with daily. I expect way too much from folks in everyday life. Way too much. I actually expect them to do their jobs. I expect them to be competent. But in case after case I am finding out that those in power no matter where on the food chain they are located...

The next big dollar domain to hit NameJet.com is Toxic.com (also Toxic.net).

With all the talk of toxic assets and the economy, the domain is certain timely.
The domain is at $4,000 pre-auction.
The Rick Latona Live Auction from the TRAFFIC show just finished and grossed about $375K in sales.
No big surprises on domains that sold.
Shows.com which we predicted $125K for, sold for $102K making it the highest price sale.
SmartPhones.com sold for $95K.
