I was renewing some domain names at Godaddy today and found it tough to find valid coupon codes that will give me a discount on the renewals.
After a bit of searching finally found one that still works so I thought I'd make a note of it in case anyone else needs it – it's ZINE7.

Much to my chURLgrin, Fletcher Jones Volkswagen went with the acronym here. FWIW, methinks FJVW are just too weird letters to string together.
If ALLCAPS acronyms (eg, www.FJVW.com) are at one end of the spectrum, alllowercase looooong URLs are at the other. And adding dubs sure doesn't help in either case. Unfortunately, like Jimmy Fallon himself, this URL is not funny, just funny lookin'.
Ode to a good URL...Behold the proper way for an URL to be displayed. No major flubs, no leading dubs.Just Leading Caps, now that's the haps. This URL may be a non-dot-com but it's quite simply tha-diggity-bomb!It's just so sad, it's also a bad ad.
Unlike Wyoming, Minnesota's URL is in a state of disrepair. Staggering the words across different lines creates spacing issues and makes it hard to tell if the URL is exploreMinnesota.com or if they want you to explore Minnesota.com. Even that cursive script is hard to read. There are just so minney things wrong with this URL!

Any one with a Facebook, Myspace or Twitter account, (probably everyone who reads this blog, ) needs to read two recent posts on Mashable, about how tax authorities and burglars are both using social networking sites to find people to go after.
The first Mashable post talks about how state tax authorities from several states, have
Sedo reported the sale of Zookie.com in their Reported Sales section this week. The namesold for$25,000. Now, believe it or not, zookie isn't a huge generic term - or even a dictionary term. But someone out there certainly thought it was importantenough to plunk down25K for their business or marketing campaign. The name is parked right now and the W...
TweetLater, the popular third-party application Twitter tool which gets over 200,000 visitors per month, has decided to rebrand themselves by changing their domain name. Earlier in the week we wrote about getting your Domain News site or blog submitted to Google news. Google News obviously dominates when it comes to Search Engines, but Yahoo! is just as good if you want to grow the visitors to your Domain blog. Getting listed in the News search engines, gives you instant credibility, but more importantly, draws hun...
One of the benefits of being out with the non-domain investor or tech savvy crowd daily is that I get to educate the small business owner about the value of targeted traffic received through search engines and the value of selecting the right domain name for their business website.
