F Words Fetch $183,000 to Take the Top Two Spots on This Week's Domain Sales Chart

 Mark As Read

The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. A pair of F words totaling $183,000 set the pace at the top of our new all extension Top 20 Sales Chart. It was also a big week for the ccTLDs as they piled up eight entries on the elite list. The non .com gTLDs had a decent outing too with two of the four biggest sales.

Battle Over .Jobs is Growing

 Mark As Read

.Jobs debate "ends" Thursday. I wrote last month about a move to open up the .jobs domain name. Currently only companies can register .jobs domains, and only with their company name (e.g. ATT.jobs). The group behind this sponsored TLD wants to open it up, with the idea of creating a ton of (million?) job boards

Offers.com is not only a great generic domain name but guess what they offer? Offers of all different kinds from Online Coupons, Coupon Codes, Discounts, Free Shipping Offers and a whole bunch of other offers. Clearly Offers.com understands domain names but if you look even deeper, they also own the singular version of the domain name

It was a year ago that I did my first review of DevHub - and came away impressed. I continued using the platform to develop a geo domain and some other product names.
