Yesterday's available domain names list went over extremely well with 90 domains registered out of the 117 I posted. I thought that deserved an encore so here is another list of available .com keyword domains that are registered in at least the .net extension.
Furthermore, plenty of these domains are developed in the .net extension too.
My Godaddy picks for expired domain auctions ending January 25th. A decent list really. CrossSiteScripting.com would make a great redirect for a "vulnerability management" company. No bids on that one at the time of this writing. CityOfLagunaBeach.com has a couple bids and could be a great asset. I like AtomicCircus.com for a new brand. ProtectTheJ...
Europe's Domaining 2012 conference, coming up in Valencia, Spain April 26-28, is still three months away but show organizers have been hard at work for weeks now putting together an all-star speaker's line-up. Here are some of the industry experts who will be on stage.
The following 26 domain names are available to bid on at the Godaddy auctions at the time of writing this. All names are linked to the Godaddy auction bid screen for quick access. I have tried to confirm all PRs to make sure they are not fake but you still have to do your own
HostExploit applauds Oversee.net for fixing problems that landed it at top spot at recent "Bad Hosts" list. HostExploit, a group that compiles a list of what it calls "Bad Hosts", no longer lists Oversee.net as the #1 bad host. In its fourth quarter report, the group says Oversee.net is now ranked as the #12 bad
Another option for domain name escrow services. There are lots of options for domain name escrow services. One I just became aware of is Transpact.com based in the UK. Two things make Transpact interesting: its location and low fees. The company (Transpact is actually the trading name for Anpa Forward Ltd) is based in the
Three domains have already hit reserve ahead of auction, and CA lists five domains for sale. Next week DOMAINfest comes to Santa Monica, California. That means it's time for another Moniker premium domain auction. As it has done recently, the company is holding "pre-bidding" on a number of domains that will be in the auction....
Panel rules against company claiming rights to LegalAdvice.org. A company called Capitalism, Inc. didn't quite get the legal advice it needed in a recent UDRP case. The company asked a National Arbitration Forum panel to give it the domain name LegalAdvice.org. No such luck, the panel ruled. After all, it's merely a descriptive term. Capitalism,...
AARP wins two cases for similar domain names but loses third. The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) just received determinations in three cases it filed for aarpdiscounts.info, aarpdiscounts.net, aarpdiscount.org, and AARPdiscounts.org. It won rights to all of the domains except AARPdiscounts.info. You may be asking yourself how three ...
Some of the best .me domains out there (Hotel.me, Forex.me, Singles.me, College.me and so on) will be auctioned by the dot Me registry through a special Sedo auction which will start on the 2nd of February and end on the 9th of February.
As you can see, these are some of the best dot me
I had a tentative deal to sell BoracayHotels.com for $16,500 in the middle of 2011 on my blog, but the buyer and I couldn't come to terms (payment time table). Throughout the last year, I also had several individual offers on the name ranging from $4,000 – $8,000. I am listing it now for $9,500.
According to a press release we were sent today, Sedari, a consulting and technology company focusing on TLD Business Management has been engaged by the Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development (FAITID), a not-for-profit Russian foundation which is preparing applications for the .MOSCOW and .MOCKBA (in Cy...

Our first MeetUp of 2012 is less than one week away and I have to say this looks like it's going to be our biggest, coolest, and most informative MeetUp yet! It all starts with top-notch speakers that we'll be announcing later this week and an incredible sponsor – Protrada that is going to show
One of the key features that has made me a true believer in the WordPress is the incredible library of plugins available for the platform. Of course with a large selection also comes a great deal of confusion as to which plugins are the best fit for your site. This was a hard list to
Looks like there are a bunch of blogs jumping on the daily lists bandwagon. I realize I'm not the first and won't be last list maker but even I am getting tired of seeing all the new daily lists. So thank you for coming back each day and spending a little time here as I
Wrecked. It was a bar I visited twice on my recent disappearance to Mexico. It's right on the ocean and a great place to drink and get, well, wrecked. They don't serve food, just $2 beers and shots, or a bit more for my Don Julio's. After several of each there's a great place 200
Domain theft is an issue but it doesn't have to be. Most registrars don't even make an attempt to secure your domains other than a username and password to your account. Godaddy has a security measure that they think is foolproof that involves an account representative calling you at your personal phone number and giving
Here are the top sales from Sedo this week. I love the name Yolo.com. It's one of those special names that has no generic value but as a brand is fantastic. I also love sexonthebeach and the domain is pretty good too. Domain name Price Currency .COMs neomobile.com 58500 USD yolo.com 29000 USD sexonthebeach.com 15000
It goes against every rules of investing. I want to put every extra penny of money I have into Apple stock. You have to be naive or stubborn to not see what's happening around us. Apple's products have become a daily part of tens of millions of people around the world and there is no

ICANN-accredited registrars need to diversify in order to stand out from the rest of the crowd. While industry giants like GoDaddy offer a lot of eye candy in the form of boobalicious, leggy female promoters, a Wisconsin based domain registrar wants to make a difference. "We decided to offer domains and bundle them with basic,
A Bido auction for the domain name Pet.org ended with the domain being unsold. The top bid of $2,381 did not surpass the reserve price of $65,000. The seller describes Pet.org as a "category killer" domain but in all reality, sixty-five grand is more than one needs to open a pet store affiliated with large
These days, it's all about gTLDs. A couple of weeks since ICANN was officially authorized to go forth with the launch of a gTLD universe, it became apparent that some folks will attempt to bend the rules. Getting a trademark registered at the USPTO was considered to be one such sneaky method, in order to
A solar data storm, originating from a gigantic sun flare is hitting earth hard, according to the Global Data Observatory in Acapulco. Racing at speeds exceeding 90 million miles per hour, the ion, proton and bozonium-7 data storm collided with the earth's atmosphere early Tuesday. The huge solar data storm resulted in data loss in
Apparently GoDaddy is not concerned with selling domains infringing on a famous trademark, on its marketplace, TDNAM. There are currently 453 "facebook" domains listed there – some with outrageous asking prices. Incidentally, listing domains as HTML tables apparently breaks WordPress summaries, so this extra text serves as a protector against...
