If you’re a fan of the popular series, “Game of Thrones“, then you probably got a stiffie when Game of Thrones – Season 4 premiered the other night.
The award-winning HBO series draws millions of viewers to its official web site, HBO.com.
Apparently, none at HBO or anyone from its mother company, Time Warner, thought to register GameOfThrones.com – someone else did in 2009.
In a recent UDRP case decided over at the National Arbitration Forum, the domain name GameOfThrones.com was handed over to the Complainant, Time Warner.
Along with that domain, that most likely generated millions of hits, the following domains were given to Time Warner; it is not clear whether all these domains were registered by the same person, but the respondent in this case was their Registrar, Domain Administrator / Fundacion Private Whois.
