Election.com Sells at NameJet for $65,100

The auction for Election.com on NameJet ended this afternoon, and after quite a long extended auction, the domain name sold for $65,100. There were 448 bids from 323 bidders in this public auction. The winning bidder has a NameJet nickname of abcjk.

There were seven bidders who had bids of $40,000 or higher. Four of those bidders placed bids of $50,000 or higher. Back in March, Election.com was being brokered by Domain Holdings, although I don’t see an asking price in the newsletter I received announcing the listing. The domain name is currently registered to New Ventures Services Corp.

Once payment is confirmed by NameJet and the domain name changes hands, I’ll post an update to this article.

  1. I just looked at trademark247 and there are a bunch of trade marks on election whatevers.
But just [Elections] does have one.

  2. I just looked again at trademark247 and Election.com trademark was cancelled-section 8 said the same on trademarkia.com.
    But i could be wrong.

  3. Sorry to beat a dead.horse, but i always appraise my domains on estibot, then jump over to domainindex.
Domainindex seems to be very strict on trade marks and they give it a green light and appraise it at $267.094.
So this domain looks good to go for the buyer IMO.
But who am i to say.
