In mid June 2014 I wrote about the expired domain name auction happening at GoDaddy Auctions for the expired domain name Retweet.com and that auction ended for $24,250. I was tracking it since to see, first if the transaction completed (the old owner has sometime to renew the domain after auction) and secondly who purchased the domain name.
When I expected, the domain did change ownership, but whois privacy was applied to whois, so I still wasn’t able to tell who the new owner was.
Well, whois privacy is still applied to the Retweet.com domain name, but a Coming Soon page has arrived on Retweet.com and this provided me enough info to dig into who the buyer likely is!
Steven Forkosh (linkedin), the owner of The Blu Market was the likely buyer of the Retweet.com expired domain auction that ended for $24,250 based on the information that I could dig up on The Blu Market.
It is still very unclear what happened to Dollar Rose Holdings LTD that had paid a reported $250,000 for the Retweet.com and website as I reported in my first story.
TheBluMarket.com is also basically a coming soon page, which is stated as “The social Marketplace” and “Explore the world of marketing through social media, with the easy to use tool that puts your product or service in front of the right people”
