The country codes were led by that $10,000 sale of ElDebate.com.mx (and five more ccTLD domains that you saw on the all extension leader board above).  The highest sale from this category that you haven't seen yet is #7 on our latest weekly Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart. That is Baby-Markt.cn, a domain that Sedo sold for $4,665.

Sedo went on to sweep 18 of the 20 chart entries including #8 Pizzarias.com.br at $4,000. They rounded out the top ten with #9 Mvagusta.cn ($3,990) and DGG.it ($3,325).

One thing about this week's chart that jumped out us is as that 18 different TLDs have representatives on the leader board, the most ever. Only two extensions, Colombia's .co and China's .cn had more than one chart entry (they each had two). 

 Here is how the country code sales stacked up for the week ending Sunday, August 17:

There were more four-figure ccTLD sales off the chart led by Sedo's sales of  Plykanza.cn ($1,999), Wir-Packen-es.de ($1,995) and HootSuite.com.ar ($1,975).

Sedo had 23 more four-figure ccTLD sales ranging from $1,000 to $1,800 that are listed in the table below:

NetFleet.com.au rang up three more sales - PatentSearch.com.au at $1,299, NightAtHome.com.au at $1,070 and YouthHostel.com.au at $1,069.

Elsewhere TLS.us changed hands for $1,177 in a private transaction and DomainLore.co.uk sold MVP.co.uk for $1,021.

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org, .biz, .info & others, including new gTLDs)

The results in the non .com gTLD category were astonishing (on the downside) this week with only seven sales reported from the whole group. The fact that Go Daddy/Afternic (who have a rich inventory of non .com gTLDs) are currently not reporting sales due to Go Daddy being the quiet period surrounding their IPO certainly has something to do with that but doesn't account for the almost complete absence of reported activity in this group.

In addition to having few sales reported, the handful that were were modestly priced. None of the reported sales reached even $2,500. EWX.net took the top spot on our Non .Com gTLD Top Sales Chart at $2,300 via Sedo with Patricia.net claiming the runner-up position at $2,200 through Flippa.com.

There weren't many horses in the chase, but the .nets still decisively won the extension race with four charted sales. .Club, .Pro and .Org each had one.
