Domain Obituary: Nepali Kusal Shrestha is a dead(beat) domainer – RIP

Kusal Shrestha - Deadbeat domainer from Nepal.

Kusal Shrestha – Deadbeat domainer from Nepal.

This is a Domain Obituary for Kusal Shrestha, using the email addresses himalaya.kusal@gmail.com and kusalstha@gmail.com and a phone number from Japan 080-4334-7288, logging in from the IP 126.15.245.230 in Tokyo, Japan.

On September 1st, after placing an offer of $2,100 which was accepted on Domain Name Sales, Kusal Shrestha agreed to the EscrowHill.com terms but unfortunately did not proceed with payment, never to be heard from again.

It is heart-wrenching that we have to declare Nepali Kusal Shrestha dead, after several attempts were made by EscrowHill to seek completion of the sales agreement. We are certain, that if Kusal Shrestha were alive, he would have done what’s right: pay for the domain he agreed to acquire.

May you rest in peace, Kusal Shrestha, you will never get that domain you so much wanted. Amen.

You are going to have so many of these deadbeat domainers, you might as well start another site.

  2. DomainGang says:

brand – No new site will have the reach, traffic or rankings of DomainGang.com. Celebrating 5 years, and deadbeats are finally getting exposed.

  3. brand says:

Then you will need a whole new department so you can keep up with non paying deadbeats.
It’s to bad that the top domainers in this [so called] industry that can change this problem, or at least get the ball rolling, don’t seem to care.

  4. Tom says:

Many times these guys talk in INR currency, I have had over 400 offers from India, never completed a single one, many accepted like yourself.

There is no accountability there, so now you have a billion IT wannabes, and they all want that strong .com for nothing. Part of the business sad to say.

  5. DomainGang says:

Tom – All quotes and transactions are in USD. When an offer is accepted and escrow is involved, the agreement is binding. Exposing the deadbeats delivers a message across the domain industry – we do it with gusto.

  6. James says:

I have no idea of why these guys agree to buy and not follow through with the purchase of the domain, but I don’t think is right to make public private information about these people. It is not good for your company that consumers now now that their information such as their phone number will be made public if things don’t go right, specially since these guys don’t have a means of explaining why they backed out.

  7. DomainGang says:

James – How about not entering a sales agreement if you don’t plan to follow up with payment, hmmm? Nothing to be afraid of, if you are a decent human being.
