NamesCon 2015.

NamesCon is barely a month away; the biggest domain conference is already well over 500 confirmed registrations, with a goal to surpass 800 attendees.

Domain conferences rarely make the news outside of the domain industry, but NamesCon broke new ground after getting coverage from British tech publication, The Register.

In an article covering re recent release of several gTLDs by Donuts, Inc., The Register made the following note about NamesCon:

“And if that wasn’t enough for you, the industry is gearing up for a conference that will take place in Las Vegas (where else?) at the start the New Year.

NamesCon will double its usual attendance according to early registration figures, highlighting that 2015 is going to a big year for the domain name industry.”

Indeed, 2015 is expected to be a pivotal year for the domain industry, as more domain investors participate in industry events, engaging in meaningful ventures and getting the word out to Main Street about the value of domains.
