@FPForum , name.com blog post from may 2013 mentions : 25 days called the “Renewal grace period” unless this information is outdated?

icann gtld lifecycle mentions renewal grace period is not fixed and it is upto a registrar to decide how many days, anywhere between 0 to 45, a registrar wants a gtld domain to be in renewal grace period

so for name.com it seems to be 25 days + 30 days + 5 days = 60 days and a .com with name.com will drop on 61st day?

For what purpose Names.com charge?

I mean for attempt or only for successful attempt? I got this page but it's from 2012 saying they will refund if they couldn't catch.. anyone have updated info?
