    Become a Domain Name Reseller

I checked several companies which offer to us becoming domain reseller, and as I saw all of them asks some prior deposits.
Do you guys heard if there's such a company which doesn't request any deposit? Withdrawing money directly form Paypal in case of domain name purchasing would be just great.

I believe they all very much require you to fund your account in advance. I believe ResellerClub have a low initial deposit, but they're now owned by EIG.

All the domain resellers I've come across all require a deposit. I haven't been able to find one that doesn't require a deposit. DomainPlex requires a $50 deposit.

    Resale for someelse?

You could become a sub reseller under someone, but you would STILL have to fund your account to buy anything.

Or you might find someone who would sell you an account, but it still has to be funded.

You could lease, say, WHMCS and get a free reseller account. Still has to be funded to buy.

In other words, getting the account isn't hard, but keep the funds in the account is required before you can do anything with it.

Now ain't that as clear as mud?

I think a bigger question is why are you trying to become a domain name reseller? Profits are almost non-existent and customers tend to move on a whim to save a few dollars.

Like the others mentioned a some what large deposit is almost always required. Enom and opensrs have pretty good programs. Enom and WHMCS work pretty well together too.

Yes, resellers can't compete with the big guys. Most of us have domain reseller accounts to offer value-added services for our clients, not to make money on the deal. Some of us also use it for our own domains as it is generally more cost-effective than looking for deals from various providers and switching every year to take advantage.
