    Help register .uk domain

    Hi There,

I've got rights to register some .uk domains but don't have a proxy address in the UK to use for the registration. My virtual UK address can't be verified by the registrar.

Are there any companies out there that can help register a .uk domain (I own the co.uk equivalents) and not cost the earth?

Do you know why your UK address can't be verified? If it is a real address it should be able to be verified.

I suggest you contact Nominet for advice (i.e., the registry). They have a whole department that deals with enquiries from registrants (as opposed to registrars), and I've always found them to be very responsive and helpful.

I'd register it where your .co.uk is registered as it's the same registration details that you've used and they used to be reserved to them registrars

This won't work. You need to have a UK address for second-level .uk domains

From what I know/ have read before, you need a UK address for a .co.uk so to get a .uk I'd guess it'd be the same.

No you don't. Never did. .co.uk is unrestricted. .uk is not

Marcaria can do this for you. I've used them for .BB domains, before and they do the same for .UK.
