Hello,

I registered a .cn domain name with Marcaria.com and i was hoping to grab this and laugh:) Unfortunately, today i got an email that i should send a copy of my passport before they can register the domain. I have never done this during domain registration, though this is my first going international. Any advice will be appreciated. I am not convinced to scan my passport and send to them:)

Thank you

Hello, do you know that .CN domain registration has become much more convenient now? Previously, you must provide document first to register .cn domains, otherwise it can not be registered. But, currently, you can get .cn domain names just in seconds as long as it pass naming auditing, and domains can not be resolved until pass ID auditing. Notice the difference? Much more convenient now, and you can choose whether submit your document as you like.
there are many cn registrars, you can pls search online as it is not allowed to send links here.
