3 Words .coms and direct Type in Traffic

Hi,

Ive just noticed there is a whole niche with free 3 word short words .coms. With 20.000 plus exact monthly searches and rising. Is it worth register them? What is your experience? key1key2key3 written together around 100 searches per month. Is it possible they will receive direct type in traffic? Thanks for your answers since I have no experience with direct type in traffic.

There are 2 kinds of domain names …

type-ins aka milk cows
everything else aka termites

[key1key2key3.com] > 10 is another filter but there is no substitute for direct observation. I’ve seen names beat your metrics and fail to earn. The flip side as well. You may have found cows. I doubt you'll get any type-in traffic from a 3 word domain. Maybe if it was previously a website. Most people will run a search before they type in a 3 word .com into their browser.

I have a few 3 word domains that get type ins but not much.

3 word domains have very less chances for type in unless it is very rare keyword like "car insurance quotes" or " domain name registration".
