Hello everyone

I purchased this domain name and now it is in 45 days auction lock. So I thought to myself, that in the mean time I could get this appraised.

So what do you think would be price that I could get for it? What marketplace you would suggest as best fit for LLLL.coms?

Thanks a lot

I don't see how you could compare a domain like JYVI with ZUXY. These are in totally different leagues.

How about ZYLO and JYVI...can you compare them?

Anyway, this is not the point; the point is that your appraisal is completely out of touch with the current market value. And I am talking about resellers.

Recent sales prove it

Yes, this is a pronounceable cvcv - Not in the top, but probably in the high $xxx to low $x.xxx range - Good luck

I could understand JiVY being a good cvcv, but not JYVi. It doesn't work that way in the English language.

Anyway good luck on selling this domain for $x,xxx.

Y is a vowel in most European languages - Good luck with your language skills

1. Don't get personal.
2. If you are so sure this domain is worth $x,xxx, please find a buyer for the OP. And if you can get it sold for that much, I will start a new thread saying how great of a domainer you are.

Personally I agree that it's a name that could sell for low x.xxx but if it doesn't it will still easily fetch mid to high xxx.

DEFINITELY NOT xx

According to namebio, this domain was just purchased yesterday on NameJet for $110. Hope the OP sells it for $x,xxx because that would be a great profit.

LOL! - Your rules: 1: dont get personal - 2: It`s ok for me to be personal

I said high $xxx - low $xxxx and as photomymind stated recent sales proves it - Your $50-70 is lowball nonsense

Definitely a profit to be made - decent value purchase at $110.

Unfortunately the V does hurt value a tad, but I could see this selling for $500.

I'm not going to continue to try to reason with an unreasonable person. Even after I've presented proof of it's latest sales number. The domain was sold at NameJet, an aftermarket with hundreds of domain investors and resellers. I think that's a good indicator of its current value.

If my appraisal of $70 is nonsense ($40 off), then your appraisal of high $xxx to $xxxx is beyond nonsense (at least several hundred dollars off).

SMH* You are on ignore from here.

The "V" and "i" makes it less desireable in the Chinese market. Ask any expert on that.

Bought on a reseller market for $110 and your enduser appriasal is $ 50-70 - It makes no sense to me, sorry.

J, Y and V are non premium letters but I is a premium letter. Further, when 'Y' is in the second place, it takes the role of consonant. So, this domain is CCCV.com. The letter 'I' at the end gives a strong ending to the domain name. Past sales of the domain also matters. However, these jargon are used strictly in reseller environment. In current scenario its price be around high $xx to low $xxx. if sold in reseller market.
I would suggest you find out end user.
Once Rick Scwartz rightly said value of domain fluctuates from person to person. To us it may be worth $100 or so but for others it could be a $xxxx material.
All the best.

Have you considered that there are other than Chinese buyers to 4letters? - The last I sold was purchased by one from Australia

Sorry to disagree with you but Y is a vowel in many languages, this LLLL is fully pronounceable and brandable;
it also passes the radio test as it can be guessed at the second or third attempt.

Surely every person has a different feeling about a domain name but previous sales ( especially very recent ones ) are a good compass to understand how the market is going. The market has been going up for months and proof is that 3/4 of the threads in the wtb section are for lllls.

In this case the fact that there are less premium letters in the domain doesn't really count as much as in the acronyms because of the type of domain ( see sales like wuxo, zylo, qiro etc ). And for all those who keep saying that the value is xx to low xxx, I ask you please to send me your list of lllls ( like this one ) and I will be happy to take that heavy load from your shoulders for a fair reseller price of 50$

You are mistaken. I suppose then "byte" is a CCCV? Of course it isn't. Jyvi is a CVCV.
