Hi all.

Thought I'd throw some long and noveltyish names out there;

whatisthelongestdomainnameinthworld.com

thisisthelongestdomainnameintheworld.com

thisisnotthelongestdomainnameintheworld.com

thelongestdomainnamesintheworld.com

theshortestdomainnamesintheworld.com

Maybe the last two could be used as a blog/info site for thelongest and theshortest domain names including sales knowledge base.

Thoughts welcome.

Haha. Yes I had exactly the same thoughts but hopefully it only needs to be typed in once and it's put into favourites so they have quick access!

If you short your domain name
thisisnotthelongestdomainnameintheworld.com
with GOOGLE URL SHORTENER it would be (re)named as
no_url_shorteners/uhgBhg

One more, the original, famous and mind blowing special premium domain name
toptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptop.top
would be (re)named as
no_url_shorteners/pf1VKj

This way is a way to change a long, original, nice name into a short, unoriginal, insipid name haha.
It does not make sense in most of the time but sometimes it is usefull, f. e. if you would like to share a very long link in a form which allows not much characters.
But shorten URLs are not easy to remember, they look like passwords.

Utter crap, as far as money value is concerned. All of them. Maybe cool novelty wise, so if that's what you're going for, then don't fret. But you won't make any money with these.

Oh yeah totally agree novelty.
For example theshortestdomainnamesintheworld.com is long but the potential content would be info relating to ??.com/.co.uk/.net (etc) which are obviously short.

And for thisisnotthelongestdomainnameintheworld.com...it's long but not the longest so a gimmicky one there.

Did you register all these? Are you hoping to sell them for a profit?

Hello spiritual.top!
You are correct! It is possible to turn crap into money. But it's more common to see money turn into crap... :)

Hi NP Member rubencouto,

you are correct too - it's more common to see money turn into 'crap'.
But if you see money turned into 'crap' you could take this 'crap' to turn it into more money if you know how.
Knowledge is all.
So at the end 'crap' is just a synonym for money ;)

Lol. As they say, one mans trash is another mans treasure!

Yes-all registered. The idea in mind when registering was that the domains are questions that people ask.

With the new gTLDs there are even more long and short domain names being traded.

Thisisnotthelongestdomainnameintheworld.com I vision to give the amusement factor as clearly it isn't factually correct but on the actual site it would say...'but these are the longest domains in the world...' Etc.

Why not register one domain like this, and either attempt to sell it or develop it, before you register so many?

Yeah I understand that angle.
Thought I'd go for those couple to have a little set of domains.
You never know, but one and someone takes the others for a bit of competition...just thinking ahead.
