I am new here, if this is the wrong place, just tell me where to go! I just found out about this site and am new to selling domains. I just listed one for auction on godaddy, but I am now wondering if it would be better to list here instead. I have many domains from over the years, but have never attempted to sell one. I listed courtyardstore.com on the godaddy auction site.I have several domains with better names, but thought I would test the waters with a probably not so popular name first. Advise me please what would you do? How do I get it appraised and should I take it down and bring it here?

Welcome, NP member harvest-creek

There are 3 important things to sell domains:
- good domain/s
- negotation tactic
- patience

Than the place where to sell / list it isn't the most important thing.
But listing it is good for attention, just list it somewhere.
If someone really wants to buy it, he will buy it through nearly every site, also directly from you but thats often not the most secure way, be aware from fake interest scam mails.
At least anyone who like to buy your domain could contact you via whois (if you dont hiding it).

By the way, I have listed all my domains at SEDO and I am satisfied with it.

There are quite a few domain marketplaces and other forums where you can sell domains, but I don't think I can mention any of them here.

You can post your domain in appraisal request sub-forums and you will get various replies, but the ONLY valid valuation of a domain is the one you can do yourself from your own knowledge, or from a real and valid offer for the domain.
