Probably low xxx

The reason is because to me, this does not sound like proper English. It sounds like your trying to force the 2 words together.

Estibot means absolutely nothing.

BuyHomes.com and BuyHouses.com are the domains you want. No one who speaks fluent English would ever utter the words buy house together.

I suppose if I was belligerently drunk while shopping for a house... No, I still wouldn't.

Hope you didn't pay too much. Good luck.

buyhouse.co.uk 4,748 USD 2008-05-28 Sedo
buyhouse.org 900 USD 2011-07-11 Sedo

I think there is your range, high $XXX to medium $XXXX. The poor grammar does definitely lower the value and keep it out of the "superstar" range, but it still has value. The Internet is full of domains with poor grammar.

I agree and was going to say the same thing.

Also "BuyMyHouse.com" is MUCH better and very brandable so it really isn't a good comparison IMHO. I'm sure you can find someone to buy this since the housing domain market is strong and it is so hard to find a good one these days, but I think it will be low $x,xxx at best and might take a while. I just can't see any company with deep pockets spending that money on this domain.

Hope this helps!

Why is poor grammar so selective? Web 2.0 names are full of grammatical
errors in the name of branding.

If branded well with a nerd as a spokesperson and with a twist, buyhouse.com
can be trend setter.

This remark is not aimed at the people who appraise here, but buyers will
say anything to justify lowering the price. You must give them enough
creative arguments to hold on to your reasonable price points.

While that is true, I think the difference is when the grammatical mistake sounds "smooth" and brandable. To me this sounds rough and not great for branding. But it is true that a good marketing team can brand just about anything. Some brands out there make my eyes roll. :)

Mid - high $x,xxx - I wouldn't sell it for less than $5K

It's not a brand, it wouldn't work well as a trophy domain or a business that focuses on its domain in the logo, etc, but it's a solid, short, straight to the point .com that's memorable, which is all good for passive/international marketing.

Nice name. GL.

He is right. These things matter a lot in the value of a domain.

hmmmm this is interested domain definitely a high number should be paid for this one. I was researching Cashforhouse.com and that is retailing for $4995 which is a huge drop from the original $15,000 asking couple of months back. Does anyone know why such a significant drop in "housing market" related domains? A while back there was a big market for Real estate "bottom feeders" feeding off of the real estate bust and people losing their homes and people about to lose their homes and these sharks mainly WEBUYUGLYHOUSES.COM was taking advantage of people in bad situations basically buying houses "wholesale" at 70 cents on the dollar. That being said I purchased houseformoney.com. I figured I'd just piggyback here and ask here just because of the coincidence of buyhouse.com being somewhat similar to my domain. so can anyone price houseformoney.com? on a different note I didn't purchase the .NET and now someone is using it for their business houseformoney.net kinda pissed me off.

so let's hear it. love to hear anyone's 2 cents. thanks.

You need to start your own thread for an appraisal.

JacksonHoleRealEstate (I know different animal but! lol) sold recently for $85,000 We own JacksonHoleListings.com The problem is selling to realtors is not the easiest but "BuyMyHouse.com" is so generic that it should be very easy to sell. I'd guess the right company may pay up to $50K but who knows.

If we owned "BuyMyHouse.com" Id be emailing (or have a broker ) reality shows etc it's a perfect name and I'd ask a big number $100K and take offers hoping to get $50,000. We also own BeijingListings.com and have no idea what it's worth other than its valuable to the right party re Real Estate or Art Broker etc ONLY because it's a city of 11 million. "BuyMyHouse.com" can be used worldwide-I'd want a BIG number for this one. That said "BuyHouse.com" can't be all that far behind. It's all about what someone will do with it think Houzz.com ( maybe incorrect spelling)

hey Buyhouse.com. do yourself a favor if you really want top dollar for your domain and not have to develop it. try the "asian markets" like 4.cn seems like alot of high prices are being paid for domains like yours over there. It's a totally different market not your bottom feeders over at Godaddy and Sedo. Give it a look see. another idea?? sign up for Google Adwords and place a set budget for advertising your domain (you'll need to have a webpage saying it's for sale. In your adwords you'll need to put a precise price that way you can weed out the "lookiloos" that will eat up your ad budget by clicking. if you put $10,000 or $50,000 for buyhouse.com it will eliminate people who can't afford $10,000-$50,000.

Then to cheapen your budget just make sure your ads get shown in keyword searches for misspelled words because those are cheaper to get ad placement for.

for yours? I' use these keywords. probably cost you just 5 cents a click (maybe)
byhouse
buyhous
buyhou

also maybe find competitors for your domain.
and make a list of misspelled words for their domains. great for cheap advertising.

you can target realty companies by thinking of things a realty company might be use online. then find keywords for those things and then find misspelling versions of those things.

I'd approach houzz.com, webuyuglyhouses.com and other real estate related domains. you never know they might want it.
just my 2 cents.

I am of course open to hearing peoples opinion about the stuff I've mentioned above as this is something I'm doing right now and I've been getting some great responses on the cheap ad budget.

I feel I have more control doing it that way. instead of paying $50-$100 on a domain forum and hope for the best.

comments anyone? Thanks.
