What software/site/tool/method/etc. do you use to keep track of all your domain names inventory?

When I click your sig I get,

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I use a domain sales script for a website, database contains registrar, expiration and I manually added creation dates as well.

I have approx 2000 domains have tried several software solutions, but in the end I have just used Excel.

Each sheet is a category (brands, products, places, people's names etc) and I just list the domains with cost price, asking price, registrar and notes.

When I sell one I just shift it to a "sold" sheet.

I don't bother with noting expiration dates - I just visit my registrars each Monday to renew any that need renewing.

With Excel it is easy to make new sheets based on above a certain price and so on...

I've used Google Spreadsheets before but got tired of updating it so started building a web tool that updates expiration dates, DNS config, etc automagically. If it's helpful to someone else that's great http://domainlist.io/

It's work in progress, so love to hear your feedback.

Here's my SpreadSheet, which incorporates, Sales, Parking Revenue, Dropped Domains... www.DNSPortfolio.com/domains.xls

I also use www.DNSPortfolio.com for my online sales.

I also use www.DomainPunch.com to track my domains renewal dates, but that costs money.

I seem to have uploaded the SpreadSheet somewhere else. The above link now works. Sorry about that.

I have been using a Google Sheets document to keep track of all my domain names. It is pretty simple, and accessible everywhere.

For me, I use an excel doc.

I have all of my domains ordered by expiration date, that way I know when there is a renewal coming up for each specific name.

Analytics is also installed on every domain landing page. I have a nice script that can generate a custom landing page for every domain name I own; and it takes about 30 seconds. Of course this took 3 days to setup, but now every time I buy 5 or 10 domains I just add them to the database and process them with the script (5mins) and it's all tied in.

This way when someone eMails me I can look at the analytics for the day and see where that person came from, even if they are contacting me using a throwaway/ghost eMail address.

Efty has replaced my spreadsheets, separate domain showcase/portfolio site, and custom landers.

Must cosign efty even though it is still in free beta and I believe will be subscription fee based in the future. I'm really liking it alot and it has become one of my most essential domaining tools.

Just saw this. I think it's because it is an older post and it is only accessible by older members. A lot of people have told me the same thing. I will update the sig with the download link instead of thread.
