debate Collision Lists

I have had something similar to this before and I am wondering if the same thing took place here.

I did the early access to some domain names in different extensions and that "CLOSED" (for lack of a better term) off that domain name within that registrar from being registered again (101domain as well) however, the names where still able to be registered at different registrars (i.e. Godaddy, eNom, Name, etc.).
When the names became available, (sometimes) one of the other domain registrars was the first one to pick it up thus leaving me with a "your name registration has been canceled" email.

I am wondering if the same thing happened here?
