Saving money - Mission impossible

I can tell you the example of my friend. He tries to save money for car. He pitched the remaining amount to thousands. Then he took a self-adhesive paper and cut as much as thousands lacks. He glued them in a row next to his desk. Such visualization really helps him.

Live in an island. Not the kind you have to pay for a smile/hospitality.

One of the best ways to save money is to lower your expenses. Your utility bills, cellular/data usage bill, not buying the more expensive foods, not going out to eat and many other similar things are great ways to cut expenses and save money.

Also, not buying things that you don't need or don't need yet is another way to help save money.

I don't know your life habits ... but If I wanted to save money I would:

- Slow down on restaurants, bars and beers. It is much cheaper to eat at home or drink a couple less beers when going out.

But the best way is to have an automatic deposit of a fixed amount of money in a retirement account each month. You won't even notice that amount is gone and over time it will grow big !!

Yep, expenses cut is like money earned.
But from what you said, you are young and have no idea about money and how it works in real life.
