We need a quality .com name that would be suitable for an authority site for content of interest to Internet-based entrepreneurs pursuing a lifestyle business that they are passionate about.

We're open to either a short brandable or a 2-3 word domain that would make sense. We're especially interested in domains ending in -ology or similar suffixes.

The budget for this is $1,500, but we may pay more if the name quality warrants it. $1,500 for a short brandable means it actually is capable of being a brand - don't think just because something is
"pronounceable" that it's brandable. Something more openly brandable should have a really high quality feel to it, as there are openly brandable short domains for registration even, so consider what would be worth $1,500 vs. what's available. We are really looking for a name that's a high enough quality to fit the budget, not just choosing something randomly that's sent to us.Absolutely do NOT send anything other than .com. Nothing with numbers or dashes or IDNs. Again, keep in mind what we're using it for - don't send anything that would be clearly not a fit for that.

We will ignore anything without a price and don't have time to negotiate. Give your best and final price when submitting your domain.

can you give us an example of a name that would fit the brandable and the 2-3 word categories?

Can you give a few examples of what you would consider quality brands that you'd use/pay for?

Does this dictionary word (short and brandable too) which has never been used as a site qualify?

I agree with comments of many readers above, the types (one word, 2/3 words) pretty much covers all the names that I can think of. What would be really helpful if the readers know what you would pay for a sample name. e.g. One cannot expect s t y l e z.com to be available for $1500.

Thanks

We managed to find something that fit what we wanted. Sorry I didn't post further explanation - it's been a ridiculously busy past week on my end.

Thank you everyone who sent quality submissions! No thank you to people who sent completely unrelated 3-4 word domains (seriously, think for a moment before you send something and waste your own time let alone mine!).

Glad you found something. Thanks for updating the thread!

Should you receive PM's with domain offers that blatantly don't meet your criteria in future, we would be most grateful if you could report it so we can warn them and make them aware of the rules they are infringing.

Thread closed as it has served it's purpose.
