Protected Tweets question

    I follow a large organisation and ask questions to them on a regular basis.

    I have the setting enabled on my Twitter account for Protected Tweets.

    The organisation I follow isn't listed as following me.

    When I Tweet to them, I never get any replies to the Tweets I make to them.

    In light of the above, would any Tweets I send to that organisation be invisible to them, hence the lack of any reply to my Tweets from them?
