Custom Nameservers
Hi
I am so confused this time. Please help me
I have purchased a new dedicated server (unmanaged ) so I installed my own control panel .
Now i make my server hostname and give it a nameCode:xyz.com
Code:svr1.xyz.com
svr2.xyz.com
I clicked on manage domain> Host Names
I enter 2 new hostnames (svr1.xyz.com,svr2.xyz.com)
Now what should I keep in Nameservers place of xyz.com domain ?
I am correct in keeping the domain name like above ? Please help urgently

You need to add the A records or child nameservers first to use your configured nameservers.

Following is the procedure to register and use custom nameservers:
[1] First login at your domain registrar panel (i.e. GoDaddy)
[2] Under Settings, go to Hostnames option and add two hostnames:
svr1.xyz.com - Your server's IP address
svr2.xyz.com - Your server's IP address
[3] After that go to Settings and search for an option of Nameservers
[4] Click on Manage and Edit the Nameservers
[5] Here, remove the old nameservers and specify the new one (which are - svr1.xyz.com and svr2.xyz.com)
Once this is done, you should also set these new nameservers at your hosting control panel.
