Domain name suspended
I used my web hosting company to pay and register a co.uk domain name. Not from a separate domain name registrar.
The domain name is now suspended and I got no idea why. when I ask my web host for help, after few checks they ask me
to go check with my domain name registrar about the suspension.
They don't tell me who my domain name registrar is. First of all considering I did the registration from my web host website,
can't they help me sort this out?
Even if I am wrong, shouldn't my web host at least advice me who is the registrar they used? How do I go about contacting them, what details I need?
Not like I tell the registrar my domain name and that's sufficient for them to authenticate me right? Made my own WHOIS enquiries to find out my registrar and
emailed them. No response either.
My web host claims they have informed a "Senior Admin" and ask me to wait patiently for help. Its been almost 48 hours since I raised this issue.
I don't understand how this is acceptable. Or am I wrong in some way? Am I being unreasonable here? Extremely frustrating. When they as professionals
don't seem capable enough to handle this issue and need some Senior Admin, I don't see how I am supposed to settle this issue.0

Have you had a domain before with the provider / email address? You might have to activate the domain with the ICANN Approval system, but it sounds like you don't know what's going on, so get a refund and migrate to a better provider.

I ended up looking up around online and it seemed I needed to do some updates over at http://www.nominet.uk/
After logging in there and making the update, the domain is no longer suspended. Amazed the web host can't even
provide this information and still has yet to get back to me after telling me to wait for their Senior Admin to get back to me.0
