i saw some debates about the reg date of domains
some people think that because the domain is available so there must be abig secret :D and the domain has no value because no one registered it..

have a look at these examples

Britain.com registered on 1998 and it sold in 1999 for 1000000

altavista.com registered in 1998 and it sold in 1999 for 3250000

so just one year and they have gone for xxxxxxx

may be someone says that.. well that's because they are one word premium domains!

registering names at 1998 means that there were alot of one word domains were available for the reg fee and they were not premium yet..i am sure if some one has put them into appraisals at that time they wouldnt get any value
i am sure there are more examples .

what do you think?

This is a single word of a major country, you cant really compare that to registering a name now, you cant even get a decent dictionary word now, so comparing a hand-regged name in the 90's on not really realistic. You could actually register domains for free in 90's as well

altavista.com registered in 1998 and it sold in 1999 for 3250000

This was a business sale, not just a domain sale.....Alta Vista was the major search engine in its day, the equivalent of what Google is today

Its a fact though, just google it and you will see, its not just an opinion I have, there are lots of articles on it

There are exceptions to everything. I doubt you'd find anyone here who disagrees that it is possible for a newly registered domain to be worth a lot of money. But it is rare and it is the exception to the rule.

You can not compare domain sales from LAST century to today's. That's a quick way to let others know the extent of your domain experience. You can't even compare domain sales from 5 years ago in most cases, let alone some that happened rapidly approaching 2 decades ago.

towns.company registered in 5/2015 sold for 100000$ in 10/2015
i am sure there are alot of more examples
you can see the domains .co which were available afew years ago now are sold for xxx and xxxx.

i proved it already but it seems that no one here will believe any thing but his thoughts...i think you want me to bring the buyer and the seller here to speak to you and proof...and even if i made this you will not believe..
