Does this have much potential?|
Thank you
Thank you
If one was to develop it into a website, is the seo going to serve him good? for example buy gold itself gets approx 22,000 searches a month, can those monthly searches have a direct affect on the domain itself if its developed?I love gold related domains. I am not against new extensions in regard of them being bad investment. I do think only premium 1 words are worth the risk. IE: BUY.GOLD, FIND.GOLD, DISCOUNT.GOLD. Just real simple single words that fit the extension...any extension.
How will new gTLDs affect search? Is Google changing the search algorithm to favor these TLDs? How important are they really in search? A: Overall, our systems treat new gTLDs like other gTLDs (like .com & .org). Keywords in a TLD do not give any advantage or disadvantage in search.
Q: How are the new region or city TLDs (like .london or .bayern) handled? A: Even if they look region-specific, we will treat them as gTLDs. This is consistent with our handling of regional TLDs like .eu and .asia. There may be exceptions at some point down the line, as we see how they're used in practice. See our help center for more information on multi-regional and multilingual sites, and set geotargeting in Search Console where relevant.

TypoI'm a very low level, basic non-empirical domain buyer who likes some (not all ) repetition of keywords, topics, and extensions.
Its' eye-catching and unique and may tend to attract visitors , clicks, or perhaps a buyer.
It may be 2nd best to "Buy dot gold" but still the name may have some play in its' marketplace.
If I like a marketplace I'll purchased comparable names.
And yes, I 100% realize the risk factor so if you accept the risk of dollar and time loss, why not give it a try?
Thank you for you input. Yes, buying and selling is a good business. However, it is not guaranteed both parties will be successful. In regards to buying unique or different product from other; it is sometime advantages. Example: some buyers may want one of a kind item; meaning they want to have an item that nobody can have of the same. And of coarse unique item can be pricey. And if the buyer is interested of your product or service, they are willing to pay what it cost.I'm a very low level, basic non-empirical domain buyer who likes some (not all ) repetition of keywords, topics, and extensions.

buy.gold would only be using buy as the keyword. buygold.gold would be using the "buy gold" term as keyword. The .gold has no effect what so ever at the moment. So what matters is the content of your website, seo and quality visitors to your site.
In short: No, it won't hurt your development of the site. buygold.com is the same as buygold.gold.
However, be warned! This may change in the future with the all the meaningful TLDs coming out in such bulks.
THANK YOU! I asked this question a few weeks ago and no one answered. This REALLY helps.
