I have some domains in Bigrock.

Yesterday they blocked one of my domain stating, My domain is involved in spamming.
And they asked me to check in URLVoid.com.
Infact, I listed it for sale in DNS.
I replied them like i havent done any spamming activity...back and forth mails..At last, they released my domain.

Today again i got a mail.

Hello,

We have been informed by the .ME Registry that the following domains are involved in Spamming:

xxx.me
xxxxx.me

You can check the reputation of these domains on http://www.urlvoid.com/. Hence, we have suspended the above mentioned domain names.

Regards,
Abuse Mitigation Team,
BigRock

I have checked in URLVoid.com, Its showing good.
The domains in question are some chinese domains.

Please help me how to deal with BigRock.

Thanks

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Have you tried calling them? I had an issue with "fraud" because I bulk bought several hundred domains with them but got it all cleared up in about 15 minutes on the phone.

sorry to hear it,

Ask them to unsuspend and give access to transfer to another registrar.

If they not, report it to ICANN and ask AUTH code to them.

Bigrock is poor company, I wish to stay away from them.

Maybe it makes sense to forward big rock's email to .me registry and ask them if they indeed sent such letter to big rock

If you hosted with them, they will solve it behalf of you( I don't know how :P )

if you bought only domain, you have to face this kind of issues...

(Once upon a time, i recommend them to use but nowadays they are worst, JMO)

Try to get the original complaint from .ME registry to see how they think your domain is involved in spamming. It could be that the domain was previously used for phishing or similar and the "hackers" are still sending out emails containing your domain. This isn't your fault though.

Sounds like BigRock aren't handling abuse complaints properly and just suspend the domain after any report. You'll probably need to transfer somewhere else. There are plenty of registrars that specialise in domainers' domains, so are used to these kinds of abuse reports and do a proper investigation before just suspending domains. Above dot com is one and their prices are pretty good, even without a large portfolio

Were these domains that had been previously registered then dropped or were they new, never before reg'd names?

The reason I ask is that maybe the previous owner of the domains did spamming and dropped or sold them and you are just paying for their spamming practices.
