Indeed, funny. I guess they don't care about domains. You pay - you get listed. Pure madness, IMO

LOL domain name, registrar, age of domain, domain price. And NEW seller, of course.

I think the seller is meaning it. ("You can always try", he or she probably thinks)
He or she refers to "comparible sales of the past" =>>that went 325.000 and 125.000$
BUT HIS/HER domain is a 4 word domain and not 2 word domain (=the comparablile sales)

No, that is a paid upgrade... It costs $49. Your auction starts there as featured and slowly rolls off when new upgrades are made. I bought this a week ago so I can tell you from first hand experience.

has nothing to do with flippa featuring a name, the seller has purchased an upgrade to be featured. The only time you will see flippa promoting a name is as an editors choice listing which are always valuable names.

You can see that it is listed by somebody with a new account. People who understands domaining will ignore this kind of listing. But you are right there should be a kind of review for new accounts to safe guard the quality of the listings.

IT has everything to do with Flippa.com. They featuring a clear SCAM!! Its their site and their rules and they choose to do business this way. Knowing the history of flippa giving upgrades to their own staff for free while charging others. One may wonder who is really behind this posting.

We all know from Shane posts that flippa.com gives free premium upgrades ONLY to their employees and close associates.

But it's not a scam. I'm 100% sure he will deliver the domain if you pay that price.

Let's don't judge that guy. Most likely he is just a newbie and thinks that it's that easy to sell a domain at $xx,xxx. He will learn.

In my opinion, it's all about Flippa. I think they should review domains before listing them on the front page. Let's imagine, Top Domains topic, here at NP, is a paid one. So that anyone can pay and list their names. The topic would lose its value very fast. If I look for a top domain, I want to see only top domains.

JudgeMind is right, this has nothing to do with 'Flippa' and the name is not featured as an 'Editors Choice' selection... Obviously :)

Users have free will at what price they want to TRY to sell their stuff.

Firstly premium upgrades are a thing of the past and no longer exist. Only upgrades you can purchase now are home page and domain page upgrades.

Secondly, the seller is purchasing these "featured" upgrades at their own will. I certainly agree that perhaps they don't know what the name is actually worth, should flippa be to blame for this? If you decide to list something on eBay and feature it on the eBay homepage for a price that is unrealistic is this ebays fault or yours?

The premium upgrades flippa was giving to their so called employees were for the brokered listings, which I cannot see an issue with as the brokerage is part of the flippa business.
The free premium listings given to select sellers were not actually free, but more of a buy one get one free or half price incentive.

Nice, no reserve. Seller made a big mistake there.

You are completely wrong. Flippa has been accused of the following.
1.Allowing Shill bidding.
2.Giving Free Premium Listings to their own employees and associates
3. People who paid premium listings got defrauded since its was given away for free so much. Make its much less valuable.
4. Flippa was accused last week of closing accounts of domainers for no reason.
5. There are numerous accusactions against Flippa on NP. Just read it buddy.
Are you an employee of flippa.com or an associate? Please disclose it @JudgeMind
