It's hard to say. Low - middle XXX I think.
Maybe you can sell it for any restaurant named "Z" , then you get much more.

Personally I don´t like domains with Z at the end (instead of S) , IMHO it doesn't look very seriously and it reminds me old warez websites from 90s and 00s.

I 100% respect your appraisal. Did you get chance to see names end with Z have good market. I listed recent similar names sold. Every now and then Good Category killer names end with Z sold for Low-Mid $XX,XXX.

See some more recent sales more than 5 letters long to get read of 4L.com out of equation.

Half of those comps are in German and almost none of them are single words with a z replacing an s. It's a catchy name but I don't think it has inherent value. A nice sale might come one day but who knows

Many of the names you are quoting do not qualify as Z domains.
For instance the German domains. On the other hand sales like these are comparable:

.org parked
.com (yours) registered since 2001. is this a recent acquisition ? If you have held this domain for some time, have you got any inquiries?

Also if you play the end in Z game you have to consider the coolness factor.

restaurantz.com was sold on April 9, for $611. I assume that was you who won the auction. Was that expired auction? How many bidders were there? If there were enough bidders on that listing, I think that you can flip that name at Flippa for at least $1200 (risky, but I would put it at No Reserve). But you would need to promote the auction to get as many leads as you can. IMO

Btw, I recently tried promoting names at Zandibot.com and I really loved the effect

Some mentioned domains are good keyword domains (in German) :

marktplatz = market place , spamschutz = spam protection, olivenholz = olive wood
datenschutz = data protection. schmerz = pain
even warez is common word in German for illegal software.

Do not compare those domainnames to restaurantz because they are 100% correct, restaurantz is only fantasy name.

The only potential I see is for it to be a restaurant review or locator app / website.

I think it's worth more like low xxx..unless you get end-user lucky.. or you put it in an auction, hype it, and hopefully get your money back plus a little more.

If you want to valuate "z" instead of "s" names, you could just valuate the "s" version, which would be easier, and then divide that number by 50 to 200 to get a range.

Given that shops.com would sell for $1M, shopz.com at $10K is not surprising.

Restaurants.com would also yield good price, but again given that it is long and not very hippy, probably 1/200 ratio would be correct. Given that Restaurants.com would be $100K to 500K name, Restaurantz.com is worth $500 to $2,500

Agree with you my dear friend that NP has limit on so many things. We are able to communicate with each other because of those limits.

But I really liked the way you use math in calculating approximate cost of domain's worth. Really different and interesting concept. I really appreciate your effort for that.
