these guys are moving and acting increasingly in the market.
i have been tracking them since 2012 when they used the alias EliteDomainsGroup (they still use it today). they started with a broad pattern of domains of interest but in the last 3 years they have focused on the short domain market.
the interesting thing with them is the volume of deals they have been making.
they have bought some hundreds of LLL.net, CC.net, LLL.org from Elequa at the end of 2014 beginning of 2015 and been selling them at NameJet.
Recently they seem to have bought another bunch of domains from Marchex that have been moved to GoDaddy about 4 years ago.
They have also been active in the NNNN.org buy out last 2 years.
they are active also in reaching owners of LLL.com, either personal or business entities.
but the most interesting aspect is that they seem to have sold their portfolio (short domains and random domains they had at least from 2012) to GoDaddy last April. The domains are now owned by NameFind.com, another portfolio and domain holding branch bought by GoDaddy in the last 2 years, that joined the portfolio of Michael Berkens recently. The domains sold seem to be the ones they held until the end of last year so probably it was a portfolio sale deal that took several weeks.
