    recently i sold couple of products to a person in states.

    he filed chargebacks with the paypal due to some reason.

    He won the chargebacks and the money was transferred back to him

    but today after almost 2 months, I got an issue in my paypal account which
    says -

    Counter-claim received from card-issuer

    The case is being reviewed by Paypal


    what does this mean ?
    even if the funds were transferred back to him, why is this back?
    I already faced huge losses in the first chargeback then what is this now?
    I am kind of scared !
    please help me out

    what can I do to prevent this and save me ?

    the dispute log says there was already a counter claim before this which was closed by paypal.

    then why is this?

    According to your log no funds were taken from you AND given back to the buyer. I suspect that Paypal froze those funds and took them out of your account to hold until the dispute is resolved. It looks like you disputed the chargeback, PayPal went back to the CC company with your side of the dispute, and now the CC company is coming back to counter-counter claim. From what you posted it seems the dispute is still open and you may still have an option to counter their assertions and get your money back. You will not get penalized twice. Did you miss anything in your posted log?

    This sounds pretty scary.

    You can call Paypal, ur cc, and the buyer.

    Best advice would be to just freeze ur cc so paypal cant take funds
