So the other day, I won an auction on Flippa for $1, and there was no reserve. However, now the seller is not wanting to transfer the domain, I have already payed with the Flippa Escrow option and the money is in the vault, the seller has told me to dispute the sale with Flippa. Any advice on what to do?

Has the seller told you why to dispute? Have you contacted Flippa?

Im assuming the seller not wanting to conclude the deal because he didn't expect the sale to go through for $1 ...lol. It's his own fault for not having a reserve....... you should notify Flipper and he will probably get his account banned. However, I don't think there is much they could do to "force" the seller to conclude the deal.

I'm afraid no one can force the seller to push the domain to you. Try contacting Flippa. They will suspend seller's account or the seller will conclude the deal to avoid suspension.

Good luck!

Cheers,
Konstantin

That would be why. Seller doesn't want to transfer for $1 xD. I have opened a dispute with flippa. Will let you know what happens.

This is all to common on Flippa because the reserve price can be so low - $1 - sellers get disappointed when only one bid of $1 concludes the sale.

They have enjoyed the luxury of a low no-reserve listing which usually attracts more bidders than any higher amount so if you ask me they should honor the sale.

Unfortunately the world is full of dishonest people so there's no easy way to stop this.

Initiate a dispute with Flippa and they should suspend the sellers account if the domain is not handed over. It's best to weed out these sellers, who are less deserving members of the marketplace.

No matter what the sale price of my auctions, I will always deliver the goods and treat every buyer with the equal respect that they deserve.

Cool dude, good luck mate. Hopefully the seller comes to his senses and does the right thing.

Perhaps you should share the details of the domain here, so that should we see the site for sale elsewhere then we know that the seller is a douche-b@g and probably not worth dealing with...lol

Hope he follows through. I'm in the same boat on the other side. $1 highest bid for a domain I thought would do better, ends tomorrow. But it's an honor thing. You stick to doing what's right, Karma will come back to you. And so will buyers when they see that you're honest.

I am tired of people without a conscience. If you know the right thing, do it. If you have to explain, go ahead but do the right thing still. Good you filed for a dispute since he isn't cooperating as he should. Goodluck and I hope that you see bigger sales.
