Don't believe everything you see. There are many sales that are only trading hands between account held by the same people, or trading between friends / family.

interesting...may be this domain is like a gold for the buyer.

@KINGOF.TOP is pumping the marketplace. Just kidding.. :)

No actually I sometimes invest in odd things too. Purchased the luckiest winning powerball numbers in history, in .com.. Registered it the way the balls came out and also the way it appeared on the lottery site.

You remember, 13 January 2016, $1.6 billion Powerball lottery. This was history in the making IMO..

I guess there could be a reason behind this purchase, don't see it but who knows.

:xf.grin:

you should see if the winner of the powerball would buy his winning numbers from you as a souvenir.

I think that would be a good idea. Or maybe they will buy it for just remembrance.

@Arpit131 I've given one example as to why people invest in odd domains, another one is flowing left and right extensions. I searched this out one time, wish I still had the data but there's very few flowing left vs right extensions available, again don't recall the number but it's not that many.

I only have one and I'm not trying to pump it but it's hij.ky, for example.

One point of this domain / deal must be / is obviously the fact that

999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 (63 digits)

is the highest possible number which can be written in a domain name.

This means, that it is not possible to write the number
1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 (64 digits)
in a domain name.

I own this one:
999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999.top (63 digits)
Like mentioned above, this is the highest possible number which can be written in a domain name plus it is completed with the TLD .top in this case - so it's the highest possible digit domain.

And also this one:
999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999.win (63 digits)

Seems that there is something big going on behind the daily business.

Hope this domain finds that value, the buyer sees in it....else this would end up being the world's most expensive lottery ticket..!!!;)

I honestly don't think that powerball winner has the time or the interest to buying any domains, or website. He/She is living in an different universe now :)

Many people will buy anything they don't have to do anything with it. This lottery jackpot is the highest ever; so therefore this will differ from the other. It will stand out! This jackpot is one of a kind and one in a life time luck. There were long lines of people on the street all over United State and the news was all over. There were lots of people who lose money; I can remember there was a young woman posted something online asking for help. "Gofundme". So this lotto jackpot will be part of lottory.history.

There is a way to get even bigger than any other 63 digit domain. How? Why, just add one of course!

999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999.one

Boom. Whoever nabs it, biggest number domain name on the net. By a mere point.
