The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Haha. Nice domain. I would say this could be worth high $$$$, but I could be wrong.

I don't really see either of the 3Dprinter domains as having much value at all. I don't know anyone that owns a 3D printer and certainly not anyone looking to repair one. As of right now, only companies really have 3D printers and they either have their own staff to repair them or already have a vendor for it. Maybe at some point in the future, but as of right now, I don't see it being worth much.

Thanks todaygold,

Exactly, if you knew of people who owned a 3D printer then this domain wouldn't be available. It's very likely 3D printers are going to be HUGE in the next 3-5 years. There will be a period when the public will need their printers fixing until they become super cheap, probs 2025. Many 3D Printer related domains have sold from $$$ to $$,$$$.

Does anyone agree with me?

I don't really see it like that. 3D printers aren't like a regular laser jet where you type up a document and hit print. In order to use a 3D printer, you have to have technical know-how and you need to understand how to render a 3D model. Most of the general public probably would have no idea how to render a 3D model to print. Until they turn into 'press a button for XYZ and it automatically prints', I don't see it being that popular.

Surely that would mean they would need a company to fix their printer as they wouldnt understand how it works? If they have an expensive printer it would be cheaper to get it fixed or go to the website for instructions?

Umm, did you not understand what I wrote? If they do not know how to use it, they are NOT going to own it. Why would they buy a 3D printer if they have no clue how to render a 3D model? If they don't own it, there is nothing to be fixed.

100% correct. I predict... 2016 --> 2020 (repairs for geeks, 2020+ (3D Printers for dummies. Anyone can buy and use them. There's so much potential money involved they'll make them simple. Just like computers. I wouldnt be surprised if Amazon are working on it now). You should Google 3D Printer Repairs now. There a quite a few companies that do it for commercial and consumer markets.

It's a gamble keeping these domains.

It's 2 letters away from being a very good domain and those 2 letters are 'er'

3Dprint and 3Dprinter are two entirely different things, just like a print is different to a printer. However, it does have some merit and you could proberly offload it for mid-high $xxx

3DPrinterFix.com would be a better name?

Not sure I agree.

3DPrintLabs.com, 3DPrintPro.com, 3DPrintPress.com, 3DPrintShop.com all sold between 2-5k.

I think you are reading it wrong. PrintLab, PrintPro, PrintShop...these all make sense in the English language. You go to a print lab, not a printer lab, you go to a print shop, not a printer shop, you go to a print pro, not a printer pro. But when talking about an actual item, a 3D printER, you are talking about a printer, not a print.
