media.com = Multi million $ domain name.

media.careers = It all comes down to whether it can function as a major brand and could justify money being spent on it to "brand" it with advertising. The .careers extension restricts it to career related info, and is also not a favoured extension for branding purposes. Personally, I would not select it as a brand.

Someone else may see it differently but you will need some luck.

its always good to get another opinion

i bought it at reg fee of about $30 ish i cant remember now but also bought media.singles for reg fee too

but more than happy to sit on them for now

I would not sit on media.careers. Instead write a sales letter and send to all the media recruitment agencies, as you may make a sale that way.

Don't waste your money in new extensions.

I see no value in media.singles at all.

You could have registered lots of .com domain at $1.99 dotster deal.

Media.Singles - I do not really feel this name

Media.Careers - this is very good name. Excellent name for any media recruitment agency. The reason is:
- Can be branded/trademarked as it is
- Self-explanatory, short.
- Perfect for new era, it shows that company using it is modern/progressive
- In future it can really helps its future owners in terms of serch, SEO, and authority in their area.
- Looks good on visit cards
- Pass radio test very well... it is easily pronounceable, end users will know where to place the "." after they listen radio advertisement, for example.

If it is not premium with high renewal, you can easily sit on it for next few years, as its value will really peak in next 3-5 years, imo.

But it is very good name, so if you contact end users even this year, and you might get some good answers from them. I would personally not let it go under 10K at the moment.

I like media.careers. Would not be surprised if it sells mid $x,xxx in the next few years. But you must know that it has very little resale value between domainers, because the .careers extension is not an established one.
