Why doesn't DigitalPoint have a freelance section?

Hi all. I wanted to ask some questions on here about freelancing. As you may know there are around 53 million people doing freelance work in the US which makes up 34% of the national workforce and freelancers contribute an estimated $715 billion to the economy. I can back that up if you need.

So I would like to ask some questions about the freelance industry and freelancing as a freelancer to other freelancers in the industry on here if there are any.

So could you kindly tell me which forum I should post in to ask about that? Should I post in the General Business forum or General Marketing forum? Or is there some over.

I really really hope I've posted this in the right place!

Why doesn't DigitalPoint have a forum for Freelancing?

What forum can I post questions and articles related to freelancing in?

    Thanks and cheers!

    Mike.

    Oh. Some of the questions I wanted to ask are;

Are you freelancing as a freelancer?
How long have you been freelancing?
How did you get involved with freelancing and get into it?
Do you see freelancing as a way to make a full time living?
What are some of the good and bad points to and about freelancing?

    Thanks!

I can't speak for digitalpoint but I think they don't do freelancing here because it would be very hard to stop scammers.

For example a website like freelancer.com have things put in place to stop this sort of this. They set up an escrow system so there's always a middle man.

Combine to that the website is so huge and racks huge amounts of income they have tons of resources into put into resolving any disputes.

Maybe if digitalpoint wanted to this there would be lots of headaches on their part dealing with these sorts of things.

    Just my guess anyway.
