becoming domain reseller

Hi.

I want to sell domain from my website, and looking domain reseller systems. I've a few questions. Asking them, but I want to take advantage of your experiences?

Questions..

1 - At first , what kind of server do i need for this job. (shared hosting, vps, or ..)
2 - Should i create any payment system for this? When clients buy a domain, will money transfer to main company account or to my account?
3- I start to design a theme for sell domain. Can I use it?
4 - When i transfer 100$ to my account, how many domains can i sell with this money? And, how much money can I earn?
5 - Do i earn same amount from new registration, domain transfer and renew domain?
6- Can i give coupon to my clients?

It seems to me you may start from shared account to see how everything will work for you.

with $100 to start with you won't go anywhere and won't majke any benefits either, big boys spend a few thousands dollars to acquire domains in bulk. You are trying to enter into a really tough business in terms of competition

i was trying too to become a domain reseller and i contacted some companies one of them wanted to know how many domains i already own so they can make sure that i am serious and to give me their prices information.. i told them that i have 100 domains and want to buy another 100 and they said that is not much to become a domain reseller...
another thing to keep in mind that most of those sites who sell domains don't only sell domains they sell also hosting plans and some other products so they maybe sell their domains cheap less than usual as a promotion to their other products...
after all it's a hard business but it's not that hard if you have the sufficient capital and the time and effort of hard working to success...best of luck

What are you reselling your own domains? Or domain names like a hosting company? Those are 2 different things.

Yes you can use a theme to sell domains.

Godaddy charges $100 a year so you can start your own domain reselling hosting company. They provide everything for you website...

I'm not really sure 100% but I believe that you can add your own prices.

Again I'm not sure 100% but I believe you can since you can set your own prices.
