dns settings
Hello There
I have bought vps from a company that does not offer dns services so I cannot create 'A Record'. They just offer reverse dns service. Is it posible to do the same job as 'A Record' with 'ptr record' and reverse dns?
The company I have bought domain from offers dns service only if I buy host from them.
What is your recommendation?
Thanx in advanced.

You can install dns service on your VPS. Which OS do you run on your server.
If you have only 1 domain on your server, you can use cloudflare dns for your domain and records can be managed from cloudflare.

Thanx for your respons.
I am using linux(centos), nginx as web server and python and ruby as scripts.
I have multiple domains. So I think I should install 'bind'. I would appreciate for tutorial relating to installing dns server.
Does it consume a lot of resources of my server?
The vps has 4GB Ram and 1GB is used right now.
