Looking for offshore host for my forum

Discussion in 'Web Hosting' started by Gengar, Apr 13, 2016.

    Hi

I'm looking for a reliable shared web hosting plan to move my current IPB 4-based forum to. It must meet the following conditions:

    - must be offshore (server location outside the USA)
    - must have cPanel
    - must migrate my forum from my current hosting company for free and make sure the forum works without any errors after the migration (I've had one host migrate my forum before and after the DNS change there were all sort of errors that they had no idea what were caused by)
    - must allow adult content
    - must be lenient on free speech (must allow the type of "legal but offensive" discussions you see on 4chan)
    - must offer fast speed and at least 99% uptime

The forum is not big, so I need:
    15 GB space
    100 GB monthly bandwidth

    Maximum budget: $10 per month

Please recommend me a hosting company that meets these criteria.

As you may know, the truth comes out of comparison, so I would recommend you to deal with time-tested offshore web hosts.
I know 2 reliable options where you can get reliable offshore hosting deals:
    1) LibertyVPS.net
    2) Superbithost.com
Saving one or two dollars per month is not worth the loss of a few hundred or a few thousand dollars when your site goes down. Good luck!

I don't have Bitcoin. I need a host that accepts PayPal.

Try abelohost, I once used their offshore vps and they were fine. Some times support tickets were replied very late, but server performance was overall good.

This webhosting provides offshore servers and VPS and accepts paypal as well:
    http://v-sys.org/services/hosting/vps
What is the issue with bitcoins to you - this is a pretty convenient way to pay, especially if you need to make anonymous payment

Our package might be a bit out of your budget but you can contact us via live chat or directly via ticket/email we might be able to work something with you.

We do accept PayPal, as well as bitcoin and if you wish to learn a bit on bitcoin the first step would be; https://bitcoin.org/en/

The comparison is very good way to know what is better and make a notion of the market.

It's quite easy to create a Bitcoin BTC wallet using apropriate client, that can be easily foung and downloaded. Then you can search for an exchange services that can convert your paypal of whatever to BTC and load them to your BTC wallet, or address.

    I would suggest https://anonymously.io
They match all your criteria. I have been using them for 6 months now and I am happy with their services.

Why is there no reviews about this site on bitcoin forum? if there is a place where they should be advertising, its in btctalk.
so if they are not found there, then i guess they are making it hard for user to check their credibility. they need some reviews from that community.

I beleive that before asking for a hosting provider it is faster to do your own research, e.g there are lots of nice options in marketplace here.

It can seem like an impossible task to find a really good web hosting provider, but it is not true, the hosting market is so competitive - check out vps offers section and compare many vps hosts there.

There is a jungle out there. With so many "honest" hosts offering everything you only dreamt of coming across, you will probably be disoriented. With so many bandwidths, spaces, CGIs, FTPs, features and all other sorts of information you read about, you'll probably get dazed and confused.
