You've got quite a bit of faith in yourselves ("next big thing"), which is great. I hope your service does reach the potential you're hoping for it to reach.

Not sure if I like this:

I'd probably change it to something like:

    2.gif

Making "Let's Get Started" as a main focus.

As a rule you almost never mix green and blue, whether it's fashion or site design, they just don't go that well together. Although I can see how your logo may work, this doesn't look all that great:

Hello Qwikad, Good point. Thanks for your review. We need to revisit the presentation part of the app. In the past I built similar site adsglobe.com like yours, which my friend is still running, but not going anywhere.

Your friend's classifieds needs to be tweaked somewhat, too. The English isn't all that great in some places and it also has some crucial mistakes. As an example, there are just over 4K cities with a population of over 150K worldwide, however, it says on the about page:

    • Serving over Millions Cities in over 150 Countries.
That alone would be a huge red flag to his users. The world, as we know it, doesn't have over a million cities.

Also he needs to implement good spam filters to protect his users from scammers. These are spam / scam ads:

    http://adsglobe.com/usa/north-carol...e-and-female-english-bulldog-puppies-963459-p

    http://www.adsglobe.com/india/karna...e-for-properties-worth-above-50-lacs-963505-p

And there are MANY more of those on your friend's site.

Little things like not caching the javascript on the homepage make me wonder about the quality of the code in the product but they're off to a good start. It would be interesting to see how it compares to http://www.sporty.co.nz/v2 but I'm no longer managing a sports team so I don't have access to that any more.

One key feature that seemed to be missing from the list of features was a sign in or attendance register. One of the key things that bugs my cheer leader daughter who also coaches is kids not turning up as it makes it hard to practice stunts etc and they need a really visual way of showing how often a team member is late or absent and to show it in relation to the competition preparation schedule. If you have an app you can tie that in with notifications - "hey, 30 minutes until training, have you got everything you need?", "hey you haven't signed in, let the coach know if you won't make it today". That info can then be fed back => "your attendance is 75% but the team average is 95%, you are the weakest link!" or even "your attendance is lower than the rest of the team, talk to your coach about the issues affecting you"

Wow! That's a great feedback Sarah. We do have availability feature where players mark their availability and coaches and see and make plans accordingly. We are thinking of adding the attendance feature too. I greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you Sarah.

I see your points. He is not actively managing the site anymore. Thanks.
