ASO Affiliate program closed

    A Small Orange will close it web hosting affiliate program from 31 December 2016 and no longer will be offering commission after this date. Are you aware why they are closing it after starting in 2011?

    No, I'm not sure why they are closing it. I think I did something like over 300 valid referrals, including the time before they started paying cash and offered only hosting credit. I am going to guess that growth slowed (as it always does) or that it was cannibalizing other EIG hosts' customers.

    As a happy A Small Orange customer for over 9 years now, I'll gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a host even if I don't get paid. :) I hope they aren't going to shut down the hosting service and move us over to one of the other brands. ASO is one of the best hosts in the business, if not the best.

    It is a wonderful thing when you can refer people to a good host and get paid a few bucks for it. :)
