Frank Schilling, Moniker and SnapNames are now connected

Moniker and SnapNames have been debranded.

News of the sale of Moniker and SnapNames by Oversee to Luxemburg-based KeyDrive made a splash yesterday.

The formation of KeyDrive occurred when Key-Systems and NameDrive merged last year, creating a physical as much as a brand merger.

Very creative.

Except, KeyDrive only owns the .LU ccTLD and not the .COM

On the other hand, uber-domainer Frank Schilling owns KeyDrive.com and it’s tagged as an automotive domain, naturally, as seen at the DomainNameSales landing page for that domain.

The sale of Moniker and SnapNames surely was in the millions of dollars, so will KeyDrive Luxemburg come up with a sizable offer to obtain KeyDrive.com from Frank Schilling?

We’ll have to wait and see 😀
