West Hollywood, California is practically the pinnacle of everything luxury and for the price of a half an hour .. wait (maybe a 5 minute) massage you could own WestHollywoodSpas.com
Ripe with development value for comparing the spas which just may be right around the corner from your house. This domain not only provides authority online
When you list 3,000 names for sale many gems get passed for multiple reasons. From those buyers who believe only a name that is expired can be worth anything to those who simply view the first 20 and fail to go through the rest of the list.
Tomorrow is the first day of our GEO domain
April 19th is the first day auctions start ending for our portfolio of over 3,000 GEO domain names in auction at SnapNames. We know 3,000 is a lot of domains so each and every day we will post the 250 or so in auction within the next 24 hours on the page below - auctions
It's no secret that I despise many of the services selling mini-sites who simply develop the same templates over and over but just change the picture. This work simply shows a creative mind which is not as creative as that person(s) may think and one of the main reasons for selecting a service to design
Looks like effective immediately the registrar at manage.snapnames has closed and all accounts have been converted to Moniker accounts. This is good news since manage.snapnames had very limited options for account holders and was a pain for bulk work.
If you are a manage.snap account holder (which most bidders at SnapNames are) check your email box...
I need to give Mike Cohen at WannaDevelop.com credit for this. Do not get me wrong, I am certainly not passing credit on for coining a new term to the blogging world but it is an expression that made me laugh tonight and was the perfect introduction for something I think about when viewing what
First, let me disclose a few things. This site is not finished nor is it monetized by text links, adsense or anything.
The domain name was registered 2 weeks ago on March 28 and is currently a Work in Progress with what you see taking maybe 45 minutes at most. Again - the site is not
Almost 18 months ago we sold the domain mortgagecalculator.net at SnapNames and as a developer I was hoping somebody would buy this to develop rather than park.
This domain is clearly one of the larger mortgage domains and although the mortgage and real estate business is what led me to having great success online the ultimate
Mini-sites, SEO, keyword research and development is all the rage in the domain industry today but not often enough do we hear about hyphen domains for development value. I?ve blogged about the success of celebrity-gossip.net before but there are hundreds (if not thousands) of examples of hyphen domains which far surpass .net and .org names
Searching for names tonight at SnapNames I came across a wealth of 2 and 3 letter domains for sale - some with high and some with reasonable reserves.
No one can argue the quality here, just maybe some of the prices but there are a few deals and a LOT more names than listed here. Most
Every portfolio owner will let domains drop from time to time and its not uncommon to see the very same names sell for high amounts because they are expired domains. It's one of the ironic twists of this industry where a private seller may not get a whole lot for a domain but stamp the
TopDrops.net is officially live and ready for domain investors, website owners, domain newbies ? anybody who wants to stay on top of expiring and deleted domain names ? a simple RSS feed dedicated solely to drops at SnapNames with more registries coming soon.

What a nice surprise to get online for a few minutes and see a 3 letter .com coming up for auction at BIDO with a $1 reserve. Sweet ? that?s what I call trust in an auction house to provide value to the seller and quality to the marketplace.
Kudos Sahar and everybody else at BIDO.
Now,
Everybody has a different way of valuing domain names - Development, age, traffic - all depends on the buyer and his or her intent. With over 5,000 names listed for silent auction beginning this week at DomainFest we wanted to include what we think are the top 125 in the silent auction. This list is
You can spend years building a brick and mortar business but why? The power of the internet is so powerful that with the right product, the right ads and knowledge of social networks one can become a powerhouse within weeks.
GetSnuggie ?. Domain registered in July, Ads launched in October, Laughing all the way to the
Many of the bloggers in this industry spend hours every day writing good articles and some great stories but many also fail on maximizing the potential to engage their audience. As the expression goes ?if you will build it they will come? however if you make it easier for readers to come back then it
2009 is here and its officially time to stop domaining.
That?s right ? pack up your bags, let your names expire and move in with your parents. Economies are collapsing, ppc is revenue is dropping, domain buyers seem to be in caskets and people still have no idea about the difference between a browser and a

Over the past couple weeks I?ve been doing housecleaning of old bookmarks and sharing what I think are still interesting with some friends. Today, I came across my favorite animated project of all time and decided to check the site out ? thankfully, I did! as it looks like Jeff Lew has finally put together

2008 is almost gone and the industry has brought another year of challenges. It?s officially time to pat ourselves on the back for simply surviving while global economies are in disarray. Before the holidays come and people disappear to spend unthinkable time away from the computer (without incurring too much withdrawal I hope)

First and foremost (for the 4 letter freaks out there) the value of this site has nothing to do with the domain. Nothing, nada, zilch. The value of the website and the traffic attached to the domain is a direct result of the owners work developing the content.
In simple words the domain xkcd.com was worthless
This post is not about domain names per say but it will shed some light on the minds of people who spend $70,000 on (trademark).me domains or hope to sell hamburgerwithnochesse-please.info for $100,000. As far as the domain community goes I think we are a pretty smart bunch of people. The simple fact that we

Google. The six letters which continually shape the internet as we know it. Whether its reshuffling of organic search placements, random and unpredictable quality scores for Adwords advertisers, searchable email, billion dollar buyouts of companies that seem to vanish or an office complex we all envy (seriously, who would not want their company to ...

What I love about the crew at Moniker is they keep developing services domainers want and doing so without greed. Register.com will charge you $49.95 to forward a name, GoDaddy has about a zillion options when checking out and Network Solutions .. well, I think we all have the same feeling there.
A couple months back
DomainJunkies.com just posted about Google adding an ?Adsense for Domains? feature to Adsense publishers. This domain parking program was previously only available to large (very large) portfolio owners and has been basically closed for the last couple years however it seems a roll out to most North America publishers is now in the works.

For the owners of a good holiday domain and those doubters who do not see value in owning a domain that performs only once a year then view the chart below. A little bit of development can go a long away…. Congrats to Kevin and the .info owner - Yes, I said .info

Sahar posted a recent article on why domaining sucks. I will be the first to say domaining does not suck although we are going through a slow period (like every other industry at the moment). His article was certainly only a highlight of some points that do suck in this industry and not a gloom
