So last night I was typing NBA.com in the address bar and to my surprise I wad redirected to an Israeli sports channel.. Anyone knows abouta recent sale of this domain? And for how much it was sold?

That's weird.. It redirects me, checked twice now. Perhaps it recognizes my ip location?

That happens with most sites now-a-days. You should also get the Israeli version of Google too.

Not to any Israeli site.

I mean, yeah, it's based on your location. It doesn't mean the web site was sold.

You must be seeing NBA Israel ( NBA website uses geo targeting and shows Country specific sites/items).

Also the combined value of NBA teams is over $33 billion.
