Seriously though, why would anybody register a .tires domain? ;) I can only think of maybe 10 that would be practical.. dunlop.tires, firestone.tires, old.tires, new.tires, car.tires, and a few more maybe.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
This thing really exists ? But then we need .windscreen .rearlights .hood .brakes or what's the point.

Just looked up the prices of them, ouch.

About $120.00 for standard registration fee.

I looked up cheap.tires, it's available but at a premium price of $1,012.00. You're welcome ;)

Took a shot on one, and only one, ALL-TERRAIN .tires

"all-terrain tires" has 500,000 Google Results, with lots of Ads too

MORF!

You have a gambling problem.

LOL, you can't win if you don't buy a ticket. I read an article that One or two companies were buying up all of the best & prime .tires domains. This domain may have value to a tire producing company. All-Terrain tires are big Business, so worth a shot

Yeah but you can choose to play a game where the odds aren't stacked entirely in the house's favor.

If you spent all the money you paid for gtld's on buying up cheap LLLL.com's on ebay, you'd probably have a nice liquid domaining business right now.

I'm thinking about turning it into a Blog or tire related site, maybe with Google Adsense. If Somebody happens along that is interested in buying it, then that's cool

I wasn't a big fan of .tires when first seeing it but it is a huge market. Almost anything moving needs tires therefore I do see potential. I'm only going to grab one, just did. Was surprised it was available as most registry's don't allow same keyword as their extension to be reged, seems to be a rarity. If they do it's such a high price not many would or could reg it.

Anyhow I'm happy with this one. Tires .Tires :D

SendYourEnemiesDirtyFlat.tires

Just think of the disposal fees they're going to have to pay and the time and effort to do it. Unless they dump in the woods. Make a quick site, tell people you have orders, post on Flippa, Boo-Yaa, money.

I was following your lead, you didn't really register, tires.tires? Don't recall any samekeyword.samekeyword sales.

Sure I did, it will rank well... ;)

Not for tires it won't. That will be dominated by actual merchants. It's going to have to be keyword tires and it won't be page 1. If you're thinking affiliate site, I can tell you some good merchants. I do pretty good with tires myself.

I think that's a good one. I can't wait to see the 1st reported sales. Until then, I will stick with my single ALL-TERRAIN.tires domain
Usually,I am not crazy about hyphens in domain names, but 'All-Terrain' is frequently searched that way and has a lot of search results & Ads in Google

Don't recall any samekeyword.samekeyword sales.

That's because ICANN blocks most, search them, pizza, beer, furniture, toys etc..

I'd like to know how many same name, same new gTLD extensions are out there, reged as this seems like a rarity from what I've searched.

Might be a good topic for another thread? I do know you'd love to have com.com, if you could! :xf.smile:
