Which fees for expired domains?

As a newbie I have a question about expired and expiring domains. Buying such a domain from a GD auction which fees must I pay? Of course, I must pay the price at the end of the auction. But then? Do I have to pay a registration fee or a renewal fee? Is there an internal push from GD to my account, and do they charge an additional fee? Thank you for your help.

Yes you pay the auction price plus a one year renewal fee. No other fee's. They will put it in your account after about a week, subject to the name going through ok. In your auction platform look under 'Won' and you will see a date next to the name, this is when it is expected to be in your account, you will get an email when it transfers.

There is no discount available at this time for renewal. You have to pay around $15+ for renewal.

But if you are in DDC, the renewal cost will be $8.37.

If you are willing to purchase more domains through GD Expiring auction, DDC will be the best choice for you!
